How It Started
One of our core beliefs is that the best recruitment firms don’t just fill roles—they invest in the profession itself. That’s why in 2019, our founder Ian O’Reilly partnered with Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute (SCMAO, now NISCL) to create the Leadership Series: a flagship program designed to educate, connect, and elevate supply chain leaders at every stage of their career.
As launch partner and title sponsor, The STORY Group played a vital role in shaping the series—from curating speaker lineups and sourcing executive panelists to helping define the program’s strategic direction. Over 20 events spanning five years, we brought 250+ leaders from organizations like Deloitte, Procter & Gamble, BMO, Kraft Heinz, and Ontario Power Generation to share their expertise with thousands of supply chain professionals across Canada.
Although our sponsorship ended in 2025, we remain committed to championing the supply chain profession and developing the next generation of leaders through NISCL. Our investment in the series reflects who we are: a firm that doesn’t just understand the supply chain profession—we helped shape the conversation.
