Compensation: ideally up to $52k

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Sales & Supply Chain Assistant to support the activities of their
cosmetic and pharmaceutical divisions in their Toronto office.
This position is responsible for providing support to Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and
Management. The right person for this position will be organized, detail oriented, and
dedicated to providing good customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: The specific responsibilities of the role, while not limited to, include:
Supply Chain
Work together with and back up the Customer Service / Supply Chain Coordinator position through:
Efficient processing of mail, e-mail, fax and telephone inquiries, orders and order
changes. Review, Enter, Acknowledge, Monitor and Follow up.
Efficient processing of purchases from product suppliers.
Accurate and efficient receipt of Inventory Items to the company ERP system.
Coordination and communication with 3PLs with regards to Inbound Receipts,
Outbound shipments, transportation needs (air and road) and Inventory.
Scanning and filing of COA’s and MSDS’.
Sales
Assist with documentation and transfer of information; print, scan, and prepare documents.
CRM – Maintain product catalogue and pricing, extract data as requested.
Compile monthly sales data and information to prepare Scorecards and Monthly Sales Slide deck.
Prepare and send customer price quotes and other documentation as needed.
Extract and analyze data to assist Sales Team in maximizing their effectiveness in their Territories. Administrative Support
Assist with documentation and transfer of information; print, scan, and prepare documents.
Answer and direct telephone calls as necessary.
Maintain supplies inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
Other
Back up support to the Marketing Assistant as it relates to Sample Processing and management of Promotional literature.
Complete assignments according to the guidelines and requirements provided by Management.
Respect and promote the values, image and culture, inside and outside the company.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Following are the minimum requirements for the position:
Associate’s Degree or related experience
Basic knowledge of SalesForce.com and SAP CRM
Experience with SAP SD and MM modules.
Experience in a customer service or customer/supplier support environment.
Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be driven and focused in a team-oriented environment
Previous experience with a Personal Care / Pharmaceutical ingredient supplier a plus
