NPI Manager (Engineer)
Compensation: ideally up to $120k

SUMMARY:
The NPI Manager is the point person on the operational execution of all NPI (new product
introductions) at the contract manufacturing division of the company.
The NPI Manager develops close relationships with all internal operational resources, as
well as customer points of contact for the purpose of guiding them through the successful
execution of a product launch into production. To thrive in this role, the NPI Manager will be
systematic, persistent, reliable, and punctual in how they engage with task execution.
As part of the major accountability roles, the NPI Manager will be working closely with the
Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality Managers as well as a team of junior, professional
Engineers.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: The specific responsibilities of the role, while not limited to, include:
Conduct new product introduction (NPI) assignments related to contract manufacturing activities
Develop project plans and execute along side the leadership team consisting of Supply Chain, Production and Quality Lead as an engineering expert on the products that are being launched
Apply project management skills, as well as the management of KPIs, timelines and action plans for successful execution
Interact with the customer as the launch contact
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Following are the minimum requirements for the position:
University degree in Engineering, ideally (Industrial, Mechanical)
Six Sigma Green Belt (DOE, Kaisen, KanBan, VSM , FMEA)
QMS- Process capabilities knowledge to help control quality and FAs (final assemblies) PFMEAs knowledge
Familiarity with pneumatic systems and machined hardware such as NPT fittings, fasteners and custom machined components - nice to have!
Technical knowledge in fluidics and fluid dynamics
Medical device, aviation or other highly regulated industry experience preferred
Excellent understanding of Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Chat and Gmail
Ability to overcome challenges with patience, creativity, and attention to detail
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and activities
Strong leadership skills and a team player
